Yeah, but you just know me...I keep hoping and praying...I'm waiting for that miracle that may seem impossible but may still happen.

Yeah, I guess that I should think of it like that. I'm telling everyone I know about the film finally coming to be. It amazes me how many people DON'T know about the whole New Line and PJ thing being resolved. Loyal fans? Sometimes I wonder.... Also, a recent poll on www.theonering.net shows that among the people who took the poll asking if they'd be willing to wait for the release of 'The Hobbit' films so Peter Jackson can direct, 5540 fans (76%) said "Yes of course!", 969 fans (13%) said "Yes, but no more than 1-2 years", 339 fans (5%) said "NO! We wantss it now, my precious!", 301 fans (4%) said "No, I would like to see someone else direct the films" and 94 fans (1%) said "No opinion". I'm sure everyone knows how I voted. ;D ------ One more thing...I was looking around TORN and also found this: What does a “Hobbit sequel” mean? Bridge movie? December 18th, 2007 by Corvar | Discuss
When the staff here at TheOneRing.net first heard the rumors that the Hobbit film deal would most likely be for two movies, it fueled a lot of speculation. Most of the speculation centers on the idea that the second movie will be a bridge between The Hobbit and Fellowship of the Ring.
Events that could be included in such a bridge movie:
The White Council meets to discuss The Necromancer (aka Sauron) The White Council (including Saruman and Gandalf) attack The Necromancer’s stronghold at Dol Guldur. This is to prevent Sauron from searching the river for the Ring. Sauron abandons Dol Guldur and takes up residence in Mordor. Gollum leaves the mountain, searching for the “thief” Baggins. Sauron declared himself openly, starting to gather power to Mordor. Aragorn searches the wilds for Gollum. Aragorn’s engagement to Arwen. Frodo’s birth. These are but a few things mentioned in Appendix B of Return of the King. These can be added to and expanded to make the story flow.

That would be AWESOME!!! There is so much that they could take from the books to bridge the gap between The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.

Yes, but I think that they are smarter than that. They're going to want people to see it, and they KNOW that they'd lose a lot of people if they did something so stupid...

Concerning the score of the film, somebody attended The Lord of the Rings Score Preformed Live, and during the Q&A section, he said that he's been thinking of ideas and stuff since he was scoring The Two Towers The site said that he said he was involved with the picture, but I would take that with a large grain of salt until something official comes out

Concerning the score of the film, somebody attended The Lord of the Rings Score Preformed Live, and during the Q&A section, he said that he's been thinking of ideas and stuff since he was scoring The Two Towers Incredible. Sounds like borderline obsession. I like that. ;D The site said that he said he was involved with the picture, but I would take that with a large grain of salt until something official comes out The way I see it is that it's a miracle in itself that "The Hobbit" is coming out at all. So we see that it can happen!! ANYTHING is possible!!! ;D

plus, thanks to all the behind the scenes features, we KNOW like, everybody involved had a great time. Why wouldn't he come back? ;D My only thought, he was supposed to score King Kong at first, but he and PJ had creative differances, so he was "let go" I wonder if that would effect anything
