One? ;D But we must remember.....in the article he said probablly within four or five. So we really shouldn't be taking this as a 100% thing. (Though I really really really hope it is lol)

I'm all for that!! And don't forget the torches! We will scare them into submission, if it comes to it. ;D And this was posted this morning. It talks about "The Hobbit" as being a definite. I don't have time to read the entire article word for word because I'm about to go out the door, but it's very interesting and informative as far as I can tell. It even discusses Weta (they will be doing the special effects ;D ;D *happy dance*) and a few actors they have considered for roles. Hope all this isn't stale news by this point!!! www.theonering.net/torwp/2008/04/25/28747-guillermo-del-toro-chats-with-torn-about-the-hobbit-films/#more-28747

HALLELUJAH!!!!! I'm reading the article now ;D Just a few of the (I think) most important things he's said. - It's very important to have as much of the same team as possible, as they had on LotR
(John Howe, Richard Taylor, Howard Shore, WETA, etc.)
- That "without saying anything official" Andy Serkis and Ian McKellen are on board for the film
- He's prepared to move him and his family down to New Zealand for 4 Years
- He wants to do as much "on location" shooting as possible, and doesn't like Over-using CGI
- The color palate will be more ‘golden’, a more wide-eyed world
(Which I think works, since it's a little less dark a mood then LotR is)
- When it comes to the two films, it seems to me that he said
the first would be The Hobbit, and the second would bridge the gap between The Hobbit and Fellowship of the Ring. (But he'd rather it not be called a "bridge" film) I wonder if that mean's we'd be seeing the White Council!!
- And this quote -
"When I become part of a world that I love, such as this, I really come with a lot of enthusiasm and hard work, and we know we are recreating and creating a world that is part of the mythos of millions of people and we will approach it as passionately and respectfully as it needs to be taken."
