In TTT there was many Great things, but then their was also things that people didn't like. So basicly.... What scene's did you like the most. and what scene's could you really live without? I'll go first..... (Remember these are your Top picks,) (not just scenes you like)
Scenes I Loved! 1.Helms Deep 2.The Charge of Gandalf and the Rohirrim 3.That scene with Galadriel 4.Sarumans Speech to the Uruk-Hai
Scenes I could live without. Well there wasn't really any!
And now it's Your turn !

Pete really wanted Wargs, that's why their in there. He could'nt really fit them anywhere else . Favorites: 1) Pippin, Merry and Treebeards conversations. So slow... 2) The Rohirrim and Gandalf riding down to Helm's Deep. 3) Haldir's cool death. (lovely music. I love death .) 4) When Frodo fell into the water head first. Cooooool. I can't say I dislike anything because I know why they changed things. I am at peace with the differences.

TTT*scenes that I really liked* (some are EE) 1. Eowyn's line 'Your words are poison' and the scene that directly follows it, with the beautiful Rohan music. Love that scene. 2. The Ent draught scene. Haha, nice one PJ!!! I forgive you just a little from FotR.. 3. Yes the charge of the Rohirrim with Gandalf. 4. Oooooh....hehe Frodo's line "They're here....they've come.." mmmmm haha sorry 5. The scene with Merry & Pip at the end where they find the salted pork and the pipe-weed. Love it!!! Love it!! More hobbitses!! 6. Any scene with a hobbit, now that I think of this.. ---------- Scenes that annoyed me/could do without for sure: 1. Having to look at Grima's face (oh well can't help that I know) 2. The pointless warg scene that drags aragorn off a cliff and wastes like five minutes of what could have been more preciouss hobbit scenes. 3. No shelob's lair...ok..[glow=red,2,300]It would have made a great suspense filled ending, like the books.. Yes, there was more to TTT then helms deep, that was only one small section, so ?? PJ [/glow]Ok, had to rant, now i'm better. 4. Now that i've gotten to it...UM PJ why is the entire movie about Helm's deep? ? or based around it anyway. Lol the book was fine how it was, should have stuck to that dear. 5. I have one last one that annoys me but I think i'll get reprimended by a mod if I say it so I will not. hehe And.....that's all I can think of for now...I'm a zombie right now so I might think of more later.

"3. No shelob's lair...ok..It would have made a great suspense filled ending, like the books.. Yes, there was more to TTT then helms deep, that was only one small section, so PJ " ----------------------------------------------------------------------- There is a good reason he did that, what else would Frodo and Sam be doing in RotK,Walking across Mordor? (For the most part) And how would it have made a suspenseful ending? (That's a actual question,I don't have any points against that)And Helms Deep wasn't 100% the whole movie, but I have to go...I'll edit this with the rest later. -MrShadow

It's ok I'll tell you, lol. ;D Ok, In the book TTT it ends with Frodo stung and captured. Sam is trapped outside a door, and can't help Frodo. Actually the last sentence of the whole book is 'Frodo was alive but taken by the enemy.' So that would have been very suspenseful to have kept in the movie is what I meant. Oh and for the other thing: Much more happens to them while they are walking from Cirth Ungol(where Frodo was held captured) to mt. doom. I just checked and it is actually like 40 pages of things that happen. One thing though that could have been done in the movie is Frodo & Sam are over taken by a band of marching orcs, and they are forced to march with them for miles. They went through so much more then the movies show. But hey, now i'm posting about RotK in a TTT thread, so I'll stop. I hope I answered your questions though.

Well... another reason why they didn't put the spider in it is because Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets(or whatever it is) came out at the same time, and they had a giant spider in HP. So people might think that LotR was copying HP. (which is a retarded thing because LotR was made long before HP was... : . And I loved all the scenes with the Hobbits too!! ;D Hobbitses are the bestestes of them alls.

hmm, I loved Helm's Deep, I loved the Ent Draught. I liked Simbelmyne on the grave, mainly because of the simbelmyne, its pretty, I liked the ents going to war and isengard and all that
hated the wargs, and aragorn falling, total waste of film, hated elves coming to helm's deep, just stupid and i like helm's deep but he made it too big, it was actually not 10000 uruk-hai, so it was just too big.

Faves (aside from the whole movie): 1. The Rohirrim & Gandalf charge 2. Helms Deep 3. Ent Draught 4. Haldir's death; didn't see that one coming 5. The elves at helms deep Could have done without: 1. The warg scene was fine... HOWEVER, Aragorn did not have to be dragged off a cliff *shakes head in disgust* 2. The black gate scene where Frodo and Sam hide under the *cough* rock-like cloak -Din

2. The black gate scene where Frodo and Sam hide under the *cough* rock-like cloak -Din This is an example of something that gets shown in the film but is better explained in the book. The items that the hobbits receive from the elves all have amazing abilities. The cloaks can conceal their users from observers, the rope knows when to untie itself and the waybread is so nutritious that it can fill a person on one bite.
