I could have sworn that we had a thread on dreams, but I can't find it here on the Discussion Board. Oh well, in that case we have more than one. Just shoot me! lol
I thought it might be interesting to post our dreams and what we think they might mean (as the subject implies *cough*).
I had a short one the other day that I loved. I saw Gandalf the Grey (full garb just like in the movie) and his back was to me. He looked very solumn, as if something bad had just happened. I saw myself as a big white wolf coming up behind Gandalf to offer comfort by putting my muzzle in his hand, which was hanging at his side.
I am very into wolves, so I know the hierachy of a pack and everything. I think that my rank in the pack was either alpha or close to it because my tail was held high (showing confidence), as well as my ears.
That was the end of the dream, but it sure made an impression on me. I have always been interested in the Native Americans and am reading a book on them right now. Wolves are very symbolic to them. They have also suffered greatly due to persecution and ignorance, as have most Native Americans.
I looked up what the wizard and wolf meant and this is what Dream Moods Dictionary had to say:
Wizard
To see a wizard in your dream, suggests that you are trying to hone your skills and exercise your power.
Wolf
To see a wolf in your dream, symbolizes beauty, solitude, mystery, self-confidence and pride. You are able to keep your composure in a variety of social situations and can blend in with any situation with ease and grace. You are a loner by choice. Negatively, it represents hostility and aggression. It may also reflect an uncontrollable force or situation in your life. In particular, if the wolf is white, then it signifies valor and victory. You have the ability to see the light even in your darkest hours.
---
So not too bad! The wolf one in particular describes me perfectly. Especially being a loner (which I don't really understand for the wolf since we all know most wolves are not), being able to blend into social situations, and also of the "uncontollable force or situation in my life." My jobless situation is just that.
I've been a wolf in my dreams several times before, and almost always as a white one. But I've checked with two psychics and my spirit animal is definitely not a wolf. It was a horse and fox in college, but since then it's changed to an eagle (to soar above challenges) and an elephant (for luck).
So if any of you have a dream you'd like to share, please do! They're fun to read!
