My favorite book (besides the trilogy--come on, you know that I have to mention it!) would definetly be "Queen of Camelot" by Nancy McKenzie. It is only one take on the story of King Arthur, but this time told from Guinevere's point of view. Before I read this book I hardly had an interest in the medieval period at all. But then my roommate at college started pestering me to read it because she loved it so much. I wasn't sorry. It is so well written and it officially has a special place now at the top of my bookcase with my Tolkien books. ;D

I love to read (In fact I'm in 3 books right now)and my fav book would have to be Eragon. It's by Christopher Paolini. He was only 18 when he wrote the first book and i thought it was excellent. He is wroking on the second right now. They are even going to make a movie out of the first book.

Ahhh yes, I've heard that that book was pretty good. My roommate loved it a whole bunch. Wow! They are going to make a movie out of it? That will be great! But that means that I'm going to have to actually *read* the book before the movie comes out!

Not LotR related? hmm... The last book I read was "The Elegant Universe" by Brian Greene. Very good, but heavy with info since it's non-fiction cosmology/physics stuff. Fiction-wise I love reading Dean Koontz and Stephen King. Also have a bad habit of buying used books... which is bad as there is a shelf and a half full of books that haven't been read. heh heh

My favourite book is ''Apollo 13''. It's the story of flight to the Moon. It's written by Jim Lovell, the commander of that mission. I love also the film based on this book!!!

I totally fell in love with Eragon also... I was actually reading it in the car (for like the 6th time ) on the way home today from my parents' (random note: I went on got my braces off down at their house today!! ;D ;D ;D), and I'm hoping to get a hold of Eldest (the next book in the trilogy) soon; I'd have to say I've always loved The Secret Garden; speaking of King Arthur, The Story of King Arthur and His Knights by Howard Pyle (one of those extremely old, fragile, you buy em on Ebay for $200 or get lucky and find them in the consignment or antique shop for $2 lol) is awesome; the original Dracula; anything by Anne Rice; Left Behind was really good... oh Eru now ya'll've really got me goin hehe... shutting up before I take up the rest of this page lolol....
