Hmm actually, it's been so long since I've read FotR (about 2 years...

...well, when I read it back then I really wasn't a fan of the books yet so I kinda....skipped *GASP*...a few chapters!!)

I need to go back and read it again. I've been meaning to do that for a while, but I always get wrapped up in another book and since I'm a pretty slow reader, it takes me forever to finish it.

But then again, I might have jut skipped a few pages here and there...I'm hoping that's what I did instead of whole chapters, which I'm almost positive that I did. *ashamed*

I wasn't nearly as devoted to Tolkien back then. Refresh my memory a little bit about the Downs.
