You should try reading the Silmarillion TrueElvenWarrior. You can learn all about the Valar there and it a really good read.

I started reading it 3 summers ago and I never got to finish... It's like reading a history book on the elves, but it is excellent. It just takes a long time to get through. It's well worth it!

I think it's especially hard to read it the first time. when I read it the second time just recently, I learned a whole lot more than I did the first time.

I think it's especially hard to read it the first time. when I read it the second time just recently, I learned a whole lot more than I did the first time. Kinda like the first time I saw FotR...I had almost no idea what was going on...but then the more times I saw it, the more I understood. Now I know the lines by heart and there's nothing new to learn (except of course everything dealing with Middle-earth history) ! But you live through history classes in school and when you finally finish school for good the last thing you want is MORE HISTORY!!
