As much as we'd rather not notice, Peter Jackson did make a few movie mistakes here and there that we all caught. I've heard people say that they've seen a car drive behind the cornfield when Sam has said, "If I take one more step it will the furthest away from home I've ever been." I don't see it!! I've actually picked up on a few things in the movie, but here are just two (because I want you guys to have some to post!)
~ When Aragorn is just leading the Hobbits from Bree into the woods his bow knocks slightly into the camera and it moves.
~ Some people say that the change in Legolas' eye color was a movie mistake. But they didn't know that an Elf's eyes change color according to their mood...blue for happy or calm, and dark brown (or some dark color) for anger.
Now it's your turn! ~ Nienna

Did you know that Gandalf's ring really IS magic?! In the scene where he's talking with Saruman, he's wearing a red ring on one hand... a little bit later on in the scene, *kavamm*, it's gone!
And that's just one mistake I've noticed. I found a site that actually listed all the mistakes found from top to bottom... heh. Wonder if I can relocate that...

Oooh my fav one I like to point out.... In FotR when Legolas, Gimli, and Aragorn are running into the forest to look for Merry and Pip....Legolas' arrows feathers were a light green, in another shot when they are running off into the forest...They are a bright yellow.......To actually catch that look for the words. "Yes!!" and then the smug look on his face...Instead of looking at his face, Look at his arrow feathers...and when they run off....Look at his arrow feathers when the shot changes and hes running. They're bright yellow! Lovely isin't it? hehe and another one.... When the Fellowship start out and they stop at the rocks. Gandalf is sitting on a rock. In the close-up he has his Pipeweed in his mouth....Then a far away shot, he has his hands folded. And again, in another close-up its in his mouth. When Legolas spots the Carabine and runs across the rocks, you see his hands are folded again! Remarkable!

They're bright yellow! Lovely isin't it? But remember, Lily. Legolas was given more arrows when he left Lorien. They would be a different color, more than likely, than his Mirkwood arrows. They don't show that part in the theatrical, or the extended, but I believe that it was in the book. Also, Legolas' quiver only had about one arrow left by the time he arrived in Lorien, and then when he leaves it is full. ~ Nienna

Well, my top one would be: The elves at Helm's Deep. uhmm and the wargs andAragornfallingoffthecliff oh!andFrodotellingSamtogohome But......I know, I know!! Since it was intentional, and not a mistake, it doesn't really count. So then I have to say, the only thing that really comes to mind while watching the movies (that I can think of) is in FotR. The scene is that of the hobbits and Aragorn in the room at Bree (that pervyhobbitfancier, him!! ), right after the wraiths have stabbed through the pillows and the next shot is back inside the room with Aragorn and the Hobbitses- we see Frodo actually move into the shot. I never even realised this until listening to the commentary and now it just slightly bugs me (but not really ).

Oh someone was saying earlier, that they saw a car drive by when Sam says "This is the furthest I've gone" I think I got something like that but I thought it was a bird. Also, in RoTK, when Sam is falling down the stairs of Cirith Ungol after Frodo dumps him, you can actually see Sam's digital double falling. If you pause it at the right time it looks like a different guy because it's Sam's stunt double. Also, in RoTK (Extended) when Aragorn goes " Legolas, fire a warning shot above the captain's head" (this is when he leaves the cave of the dead and the ships are sailing in and Gimli knocks Legolas' bow right before he shoots and Legolas actually kills someone by mistake) the person he killed was Peter Jackson! Also..... for the third time ....... when Aragorn, Leoglas, and Gimli, jump off the ships to meet the orcs (Battle of Pelenor Fields) that wasn't really Legolas jumping it was his digital double because Orlando was shooting another scene for the movie at another studio so he couldn't be at two places at once. Oh and when Eowyn is riding the horse with Merry, while they were shooting the scene, Miranda passed out and fell off the horse, and then she rested for a bit and begged Peter to let her shoot more, and he finally said yes and then she passed out again! So she took the day off. But LOL those are some funny ones.

There's this whole site that has like, 210 mistakes made with the movie like that... one of them is that in FotR, when Frodo was rolling down Caradhras, you could see the socks the cast were wearing to protect their feet.... This kinda thing makes me wanna print out all the mistakes I can find, and go watch the movies- just to say I can see the mistakes lol!
