-10 degree cold with no hot drinks (tea, hot chocolate, coffee)...although the alternative isn't fun either.
Running into someone you hate who you were trying to avoid
or
Someone calling you (and you pick up the phone) and having to talk to them even though listening to their voice makes you cringe.

Running into someone. Faking a reason to stop talking is easier over the phone then in person.
Watered-down Soda, or tangy Water? (when you're expecting normal)

I guess watered-down soda. That can be pretty gross. The agony of not knowing when "The Hobbit" is due out (you know they'll keep changing the date ) or Having to listen to the less-than-dedicated members of our species complain, " Another movie??"

Of course I know who they both are! "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiago?" used to be one of my favorite shows when I was growing up! ;D I'll go with Waldo. Because he's so hard to find. broken TV or broken computer

broken computer, since you can watch TV online anyway lol them turning Smaug into a hot pink toad or Giving Bilbos entire plot to Legolas

THE HORROR! THE HORROR!!! There is no good answer for this. And both are equally bad. I'll choose...them turning Smaug into a hot pink toad...I can deal with Legolas (although he would obviously ruin Bilbo ), but them disgracing such a powerful symbol such as Smaug??? Inexcusable!! losing your favorite CD or losing a DVD that belonged to your uncle

Being charged for possesion when the "stuff" wasn't yours or Being given a DWI when you haven't had anything to drink for the past week.

I guess being charged for possesion when the "stuff" wasn't yours...although neither of them sounds very fun. Having a friend your own age who... - feels that he/she must act mature and say the right thing at all times to the point of driving you nuts or - feels the need to defend their other friend who you unknowingly insulted when you were referring to someone else...they should know you by now that you are not that type of person

I was watching a news story when I came up with my question, no personal experience thank you lol I'd say the defending thing, cause I've gone through that Finding a worm in your spagetti or a maggot in your rice (I'm sick now, ew)

I was watching a news story when I came up with my question, no personal experience thank you lol No, no, when I said "yours" I meant your question, not your real life situation. It's all good. ;D The maggot thing. But only because I see plenty of worms in the garden and I'm able to pick them up without thought. But in my food...eh I'll cross that bridge if I come to it... --- Having to listen to the broken record that is my mom, dad, and all of my relatives or Having to listen to the same broken record with friends (Think of the one thing in your life that dogs you and how everyone's always trying to tell you how to fix it...and how they never get the hint and leave you alone. It's different for different people so that's why I didn't name something specifically)

I'd just tell my friends to go do things to themselves, so I'd say parents.
being hit by a car, or YOU hitting somebody with your car

Me hitting someone with a car. The guilt of that would haunt me for the rest of my life. It would be far worse than any pain I could experience if it happened to me instead. The assassination of Abraham Lincoln or JFK (it's like a Civil War shrine in my basement with all the Gettysburg stuff my father has down here. )
