Just what the subject says. This was actually an idea for a new game, but I couldn't think of any way to make it really creative and more game-like, so it ended up here. lol Hope the thread doesn't die anyway...This could keep going easily because no one has just ONE thing they fear. And it can be as crazy, creative, or humorous as you like! Some people have a fear of dancing elmos ( : ...while I can't sympathize with that as much, the one I have below has plagued me from Day 1...and continues to bother me each and every time I change my profile... I'm afraid I will click "Delete Account" instead of "Modify Profile" at the bottom of the update page one day and all my 4,038 posts will be lost!!! But that's just me. That might not be you! From school, home, online, outside...the sky's the limit. Time to stretch your mind! Think, man, THINK!!!

MOTHS! I *hate* moths.
That said anyone who tries to scare me WILL get hit with a wok because I actually have one.

LOL No worries. You won't hear anything about moths from my end. ;D Loss of freedom/ taking away the ability for me to choose my future ...nothing kills my spirit faster and it's one of my worst fears

I am scared to death of driving next to semi trucks. Seriously. One day my dad thought it would be funny to tease me about it, since the semi was on my side, and he goes 'Here, you want to eat a little rubber?' and pulls over closer. At the same time, the stupid truck started changing lanes - right towards us. He slams on his brakes like none other, then laughed like it was the funniest thing in the world. Scared the living cripes out of me >.<

Whoa...that would scare anyone!! I would be terrified to drive ever again if my dad did that to me. Driving in NJ... Having been in the country for 3 months with not as many people around, I hate it in NJ again...all the people...and now I have to get my license... Yeah, that's a realistic fear in a place like this.

Yeah, I'm the same way...but those fears are gradually being listed...one by one...
Sometimes I have an unrealistic fear of being around people, like at my job dealing with customers. It's weird. It's not all the time, but it's something that I have to be aware of so that I can fight it. It's now almost a thing of the past, but I must be careful because it could come back very, very easily.

No, it's not weird! .... cause I'm that way too, lol. I'm very shy when it comes to doing things around people I don't know, like going up to the counter to order food or asking the store people for help, etc. I'm not fond of it lol. And....... Spiders. Ick. I'm so scared of those, I can't watch Shelob in RotK. Last time I tried, I ended up behind my chair on the floor with the shivers . They scare me to death.

I'm afraid of injuring my A) Hands or B) Hearing.
I just thought of that today.... how much I would hate not being able to play/listen to music.....
I couldn't live without my music....

Oh! I'm kinda afraid of cutting my hair.
The irony is....
I shaved it last week XD
Self disipline can do wonders.

*GASP* You shaved it? Wow...I don't know if I'd be able to do that. I'm afraid about my financial future...what type of future full-time job I will get...and where I'll live and how I'll pay for it...NJ is too expensive. Thing is that I've been raised not so I could become independent, but so I could rely on my parents for the rest of my life...seems like a hard thing for me to explain and somehow very ironic since I was always pushed to find a job and get my driving license. I always tell people that "I raised myself" and they just look at me with "You have both of your parents! They're not divorced! Your mom is so nice!" but even at 22 years old, they practically want to cut my meat for me. And mentally I probably wouldn't be all there if not for my strong will and determination. And did I mention my mom's lack of support? Sorry, this belongs in the rant section, but I just needed to get that out.

Hm, I'd have to say I'm afraid of hurting other people. I play fight ALL the time, and wrestle and rough house, whatever. But it always scares me half to death when my guy friends suddenly stop and grab something or start bleeding. It was bad enough that i snapped my head back once when I was pinned and my friend's nose started bleeding. I felt sooo bad
