(I can't BELIEVE that people would have the nerve to actually fall asleep ) during ROTK!!!! Some people just have no respect. ) This one is a bit weird, but I thought of it this morning as I was in my pj's eating breakfast... You know that you've had too much LotR when: You see Dwarven Runes in your french toast crust ;D...no joke, I swear that they were there... lol I had the EE on the brain!!!!!! BTW, I've only been able to see about half of it so far (going to finish the rest tomorrow), but of what I've seen it was better than I could possibly imagine...there were so many funny parts added to lighten the more dramatic scenes, and they also served to show further character development and friendship (did anyone think it was possible for them to become even closer friends?? . I also had no idea Saruman died that way!! I won't say *how* for all of the people that haven't seen the EE yet, but I definetely wasn't disappointed. I recommend it to everyone!! It was well worth the extra few days wait!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

(I can say one thing, though. The way Saruman died in the EE was not exactly how it went in the book. I did love the new part about the Corsairs. "Prepare to be boarded!")
You may be obcessed when:
If your situation seems dire, you scream "ABANDON YOUR POSTS!!! FLEE, FLEEEEE FOR YOUR LIVES!!!"

You know that you've had too much LotR when: You get your dad to go see RotK in the movie theater after he had downright REFUSED to see any other movie for over 21 years!!!

(You are talking to a person that has been run ragged the past few days and who is still trying to make up for the sleep that I've been missing. lol I'm lucky to remember my own name. ) You know that you've had too much: When your parents (or anyone else) tells you to do something, you have to fight the urge to scream back, "You have no authority here! Your orders mean NOTHING!!!"

LOL ;D ;D You know you're obsessed (notice the absence of the other phrase--- ) when: You are sitting here about to post, when you called out of your room to get the last and final the LotR fan club magizine....which was on the counter...which you therefore began shrieking because you didn't want it put there (it might get dirty..or wet...or ..something!)...even though the magizine is in plastic.... You pick up the magizine and shriek again, thinking it is wet, only seconds later to realise it is only just very cold from sitting in the mailbox all day. You then proceed to return to your room, where you quickly sit back down and read over the cover. (By the way you'd love the cover of this issue, sis..unless you are a member too and then you will love it anyway! lol) You read that it says, "our final issue...a salute to the fans..." and "Peter Jackson shows his gratitude"...and you began getting shivers...hyperventilating...breathing abnormally heavy and not being able to sit still!! You are not just remembering, but actually feeling the same way you did last year after seeing RotK in theaters...that feeling of post-LotR ...depression?!?!? No more LotR!!!! The magizine seems to make it final. You are feeling even more distressed because you know that the EE of RotK is sitting right above your head on a shelf but yet you cannot watch it! Nor have you seen anything of LotR still for at least half a year and this comes back into your mind. Still shrieking, still remembering that night/morning of December 17th, you feel as if you must get up and run!! You must let go some of this energy, or you may just sit there shrieking like a nazgul all night! With you window open too! So, you quickly stand up (all the while still shrieking but yet also laughing and screaming...not quite like a sane one would be) and run just as quickly outside your door (yelling, "I'm going for a bit of a run!!" in between shrieks and screams and madness). On the way to the front door, you slam into the front of a table, momentarily knocking the breath out of you. But you persevere!! Oh yes, my precious! Almost slamming the door, you run outside into the cold air. You look up, and the night sky meets your gaze. Your eyes lock on the moon....it is partially covered by several clouds so that its streams of light filter through creating a beautiful effect. Your eyes suddenly widen. Without even trying to reminince, you remember that this is exactly the same way the moon appeared after coming back from the theater that morning/night of December 17th! Of course, if you weren't mad before, now you are a lunatic!! You are thinking about how after returning from the theater you went and stood in your backyard the two hours that remained until school began, staring up at the moon and stars. You remember the feeling....! By now of course you are running across the grass and sidewalks like the mad lunatic that you are...laughing all the while...smiling and grinning, loving life ;D! And this is how you know you are obsessed! (...all of that happened not 30 minutes ago )

ROFL!!! Poor sis!! You're going through Fellowship Withdrawl!! It's a common sickness for people that haven't enough LotR in their daily life!! I know what to do! *Nienna grabs up the hose and turns on the water full force as Aredhel sprints laughing and yelling like a raving lunatic down the sidewalks and dodging traffic deliberately trying to run her over ( ;D)...Not even the freezing cold water of the garden hose works on her! (And plus Nienna ran out of hose and ended up being painfully yanked back when she had reached the end...hey, I was running, remember? )* And I am sooooooooo jealous of you for having that subscription...I've wanted to be part of that fan club for MONTHS now...just when I was about to join is when they decided to call it a quit. I was so mad!!!! So I don't even have one issue...I've been keeping a look out for collectable stuff in the malls. I keep thinking that someone will be trying to sell the issues. What I would give for just ONE!! And it's good that they put them in plastic!! They are much too precious and special not to!!!!!! Needless to say, I got a good laugh tonight, which is just what I needed. Thanks, sis!!!! ;D You know that you've had too much LotR when: You want to use the EE quotes EVERYWHERE!! The quotes suddenly fit in with your everyday conversations, and you make numerous references to them everyday. Unfortunetely you're also the only one that recognizes those references...

You are writing to Nienna at 4:00 AM and instead of writing 'doors' you write 'dwarves'....
Everytime someone cooks something nasty, you run around the kitchen madly screaming 'Whatsssss it doing preciousssss??? Stupid, FAT hobbit RUINSSSSS IT!!!!!'....
You go around showing off your ears to everyone... and they fall out of their chairs and go 'OMG, those aren't elf ears... they're VULCAN EARS!!!!' and you promptly make their rear moving target pratice ;D

You know you're obsessed when:
You constantly write poems trying to make them sound like they could be from LotR and then write them out using either Elven or Dwarven runes.
